Is the new r.c. Nessie such a good thing?

Cryptozoologists are wondering: Is the new r.c. Loch Ness Monster going to make children happy, or make cryptozoologists everywhere crazy? The Takara toy company has released a radio controlled Nessie that goes 5 m.p.h. and dips underwater. Cryptozoologists ask: is this going to cause more Nessie hoaxes? The toy may turn out like the incident with the surgeon's photo, one of the most famous Nessie hoaxes. At least in my opinion it might. Loren Coleman thinks the same as me. He says that the toy might not be clearly seen on foggy nights and cause a ruckus. Of course, there was already a Bigfoot toy made and that caused a few mishaps, but we learn from our mistakes. People have already learned it is good to check it, in case it's a hoax, but Loren Coleman also says that it might be harder to make out.

Oh my gosh!!! It's Bigfoot on Mars!!!! Not so much...

Does this thing look like Bigfoot. Yes. It does LOOK like Bigfoot, but actually, it isn't really what you think it is . The photo was taken by Spirit, one of NASA's Mars rovers. But, there remains a question still lingering in the air, what is that thing? Well, sorry to disappoint you, but the unknown thing is actually just a rock. A 15 ft. naturally sculpted rock (at least according to Spirit's picture it is.) The only reason you think this thing is Bigfoot is because of a psychological phenomenon called Pareidolia. Pareidolia is when our minds try to figure out something that you can't quite make out, but have a hunch what it is.

50 Thylacine in 50 Days

Over a period of 50 days, stretching from '64 to '08, Thylacine have been appearing on roads in front of bikers and pedestrians, all of them not being able to catch this elusive creature on camera. Why? Well, I bet YOU don't go walking around all the time with a camera in your pocket. ..... Fine! Maybe cell phones DO have built in cameras. Even so, by the time you would have your cell phone on the camera setting the creature would have disappeared. So there.
The Thylacine may just have been foxes, or stray dogs, or something, but that won't stop the investigation. They could be out there still and we wouldn't even know it. To see more details click on this link: Thylacine Story

And in my opinion,
this is one of the best songs I've ever heard!! Really. I'm serious. This is good stuff right here. In fact maybe you should listen to it to. But, guess what? This song is about the guy to the right. That's right! It's about Bigfoot!!! This is a song by the The Weakerthans. This is a band I've just heard of. None the less, they're really good!!! To all the people who like music AND cryptozoology, LISTEN TO THIS SONG!!! Trust me, it's good. I think this is from the point of view of Roger Patterson, the man who made the Bigfoot video and got proved a hoax.

The Ivan Mackerle Story

Ivan Mackerle, noted Czech adventurer and seeker of creatures like Bigfoot and Nessie and strange plants as well (hey! I guess that makes him pretty much a cryptozoologist!) is questioning all he has done. For 30 years (and Mackerle being 65) Mackerle and a band of friends have traveled all around the world seeking out cryptids, lost kingdoms, hidden treasures, et cetera et cetera. "I've been doing this for a LONG time" said Mackerle while recounting some of his cryptozoological escapades. He had said that most people settle down, have children, and make a considerable wage, but he says he feels he has the right to follow his own dreams. Dude's got the juice!!!

Argument over whether it is a wolf or a fox? Now you don't have to!

All of the arguments over what kind of pet you have is over!!! (Well at least it will be in 5 years). In 5 years, the Canadian Centre for DNA Barcoding people hope that they will be able to develop a hand-held device that when a DNA sample of an animal is put on a small strip, will tell you what animal it is. Australian museums, botanic gardens, and the CSIRO have DNA-tested 2000 species of moths and butterflies, 700 species of fish and 300 species of birds for the project. "It could be a hair or a feather" said Dr. Paul Herbert, the director of the Canadian Centre for DNA Barcoding. In my opinion (and yes this is B.T.
