Argument over whether it is a wolf or a fox? Now you don't have to!

All of the arguments over what kind of pet you have is over!!! (Well at least it will be in 5 years). In 5 years, the Canadian Centre for DNA Barcoding people hope that they will be able to develop a hand-held device that when a DNA sample of an animal is put on a small strip, will tell you what animal it is. Australian museums, botanic gardens, and the CSIRO have DNA-tested 2000 species of moths and butterflies, 700 species of fish and 300 species of birds for the project. "It could be a hair or a feather" said Dr. Paul Herbert, the director of the Canadian Centre for DNA Barcoding. In my opinion (and yes this is B.T. Makishima talking) this could revolutionize the way we look at cryptozoology today. I got this information from an article in cryptozoology.com
